We try to ensure the closest color match possible for our clients. We can offer multiple stain options to choose from and even customize stains if needed. Depending on your monitor/ phone settings, the color of an item may appear different than in person. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the color displayed on your monitor/phone. Different types of wood and different batches of wood may affect the absorption or undertone of the stain outside of our control.

In some cases, we may be able to use prior table tops and strip and refinish them. However, we do not recommend this because pricing is not significantly different due to the labor hours required to completely strip the table tops. We also cannot guarantee the final product in relation to stain coloring and/or resin quality due to how previous chemicals used on the tables may react with the stain absorption and resin work. Starting with a clean slate of wood better guarantees a better quality product as well as more consistency throughout the order.

We do not recommend placing any of our epoxy resin table tops outside, as the outside elements can cause damage to the tables including 'yellowing' of the resin. We can provide a UV repellent resin, which does cost more, but we would still recommend keeping tables out of direct sunlight and exposure to the elements.

UV repellent resin would need to be specifically requested and notated on invoice if desired.

Epoxy resin can be reheated, which would in turn make it more impressionable. We would not recommend extreme heat to be placed on the table tops, warm plates will be fine.

Using a cleaning agent such as Pledge with a rag and some rubbing should bring back the shine on the resin tables. If further measures are needed, a buffing cloth with cream can be used - being sure to not create too much friction in one area for too long - anything further, please contact Horseshoe Table Co. for advice.

We will keep every customer updated throughout the process of their order. Photos will be sent to verify satisfaction with the logo orientation and size, the stain coloring, and the finished look with resin.
